We were finally able to close on our house in September of 2012 after one hell of a home buying experience. I couldn't wait to start making it our own! <3  I am in love with the changes we did so far.  We have redone 3 rooms so far, Carter's room, the laundry room/pantry and the kid's bathroom.  Here are some pics of the accomplishments!

I needed a place for all the backpacks, lunchboxes, and hoodies that come and go.

Carter's room was a hideous two tones of brown and a fishing decorative border.....I couldn't wait to get rid of it!!!  Bleh!!!!
I wanted green to match his motif, and it's supposed to be relaxing...it was brighter than I wanted but after I got everything on the walls, I ended up loving it!!

I love how these DIY letters I made turned out with the ribbon!  They were a pain in the @$$ to make!

And finally the kid's bathroom....we had the monkey stuff, but painted the walls and bought the wall decor from Hobby Lobby!

I have now found a LOVE in home decorating!  Hobby Lobby has the best home accents, and they are ALWAYS having sales.  I bought most of the laundry room decor there too!
